psst. added new link under really daily reads.
i was a faithful straits times online reader till they started charging to read their articles. seriously? i went back for a week till i was satisfied that they were actually serious then i hopped over to channelnewsasia. whats up with that, seriously? who actually pays to read news online when news (or non-news) are all over the net? bad marketing wot?
so anyway. being the news rat i am, especially when its readily available online and i’m on the comp at work from the moment i step in till i leave (heh) it could only mean more good news for me when cowboycaleb talked about nytimes being online and free. i am such a happy camper right now. oh and they have archives from 1851 for filling up those slow mondays too!

have not been able to fast since ramadhan started last thurs till now. am annoyed. am embarrassed to buy food but some days i force myself to get some cos i feel like puking, not being used to not eating sahur (meal early in the morning before the first prayer so that fasting is bearable for some) in the morning and trying to endure whole day of not eating. meep.
i am thinking these days of coming payday = more furniture to complete house. and then i remembered i havent paid my share of the tvs and printer. and then i realised i am married and working. and have many unmarried and still studying cousins. zzz.. they should give bonus for festive mths. as in hari raya and chinese new yr (i know christmas is also a festive mth but can bring june bonus over to hari raya or cny mah!) am sad thinking of money now. will read nytimes online to cheer meself up.
doodahs!
