| Meet the Director: Stephen Earnhart (United States)
The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle is an interdisciplinary theatrical production based on the international best-selling novel by one of Japan’s most celebrated writers, Haruki Murakami. Conceived and directed by Stephen Earnhart and written for the stage by Stephen Earnhart and Greg Pierce, the production first premiered at the 2011 Edinburgh International Festival to good reviews.
Join us at this up-close-and-personal session with Stephen Earnhart, formerly the Director of Production at Miramax Films. Stephen will share about his journey and process in developing the work which began 7 years ago when he first wrote to Murakami to seek his permission for the adaptation of the 600-page novel into a stage production.

Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Kinokuniya Main Store
