Synopsis

A woman arrives at an empty stage and begins to imagine the story of her creation and of her wanderings.
At her beckoning, music starts to play… and the stage transforms into a Birds’ Inn, a place where men learn to be birds.
As the story of Birds’ Inn unfolds and intertwines with the creator’s recollections, her wanderings and the search to know the birds’ ways of flying, singing and nesting become a single journey, one where creator and characters are at times together, at others apart, but always homebound. In all our wanderings and our attempts to fly, where is our true home?
Subtly, gracefully, and with an evocative stream of text, movement and song, Wandering.Birds unfurls to reveal the answers within.
