Synopsis

Discover the magical story behind the singer of La Vie en Rose! A child born into destitution on the streets of Paris who went onto become an international diva. Despite having no education, Edith Piaf became a friend to the poets. From a frail body, she expressed one of the most powerful voices ever heard and although she was not your typical beauty, she had many lovers.

To celebrate its 5th anniversary, Sing’theatre has decided to bring back No Regrets, a Tribute to Edith Piaf (“An excellent night of classy entertainment…” The Flying Inkpot) as it received waved reviews in 2007. The very best talent has been hand picked by French Director Nathalie Ribette (A Singaporean in Paris) to pay tribute to Edith Piaf. As host and narrator, Hossan Leong will lead Denise Tan, Robin Goh, Angela Scundi and Hilde Holme, presenting songs sung by Piaf in both English and French.
